Former Go-Go’s frontwoman Belinda Carlisle is said to be producing a film based on her life and she wants Jessica Alba to play her character.
Jessica Alba was nominated as “Worst Actress” for both “Fantastic Four” and “Into the Blue” for the 26th annual Razzie Awards. And the good news (?) was Jessica Alba being named by Playboy Magazine among its 25 Sexiest Celebrities, and the “Sex Star of the Year” in its March 2006 issue, on whose cover she appeared.

She was previously known for her role in the TV series “Dark Angel,” and even engaged to Michael Weatherly, her “Dark Angel” co-star, for a year but was it called off when they had a falling out.

Jessica Alba got her first starring movie role in “Honey,” and went on to appear in prominent roles in “Sin City” and “Fantastic Four.”

Jessica Alba is currently involved in a litigation against Playboy for its use of her image which was a promotional shot for “Into the Blue” without her consent, and making it seem she appears in the issue in a “nude or semi-nude pictorial.
Alba said that after she refused to pose for Playboy, editors obtained a publicity photo of her from the movie she starred in last year, “Into the Blue”, and are going to use it for the front page of Playboy magazine after superimposing a ‘Playboy Bunny logo’ on her bikini.

Jessica Alba, 24, released to the media the young, sexy movie star said, “Playboy has violated my personal rights and blatantly misled the public, who might think I had given them permission to put me on their cover when I didn’t.”
A Playboy spokesperson said Alba was placed on the cover of the March issue of Playboy Magazine after being named in a Playboy readers’ poll last year as “the year’s sexiest star.”
