Nicole Richie and Adam Goldstein Split Again
Nicole Richie and Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein have officially split, for the second time in six months. They confirmed that they are off again in a joint statement released the other day by the skeletal socialite’s publicist.
“We are confirming that we have amicably separated,” the pair said in a statement released Monday by Richie’s publicist, Cindy Guagenti. They did not provide any details.
Richie, 24, and Goldstein, a professional club DJ who goes by the name DJ AM, called off their nine-month engagement in December. They were spotted together in recent months, and Richie confirmed they were dating in an interview for the June issue of Vanity Fair. He said: “Of course I am going to be (at the wedding) for her, and I’ll be singing - there’s no way I couldn’t. I’m really happy that it’s working out for her.”
Richie, the daughter of R&B crooner Lionel Richie, co-stars with ex-friend Paris Hilton in The Simple Life. The reality show moved to E! Entertainment Television after Fox declined to air a fourth season. A new format allows the feuding friends to have nothing to do with each other.
