Rush Limbaugh’s attorney, issued the following statement today in response to several inquiries by the media. Limbaugh, who works in the radio industry and was a recent subject of a BadGolf.com feature story, was briefly detained Monday at Palm Beach Airport when customs agents inspected the conservative talk-show host’s luggage and found Viagra that belonged to two Florida doctors, authorities said.
A doctor had prescribed the drug, but it was “labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes,” Roy Black, Limbaugh’s attorney, said in a statement.

Limbaugh apparently was never taught proper prescription-buying skills, as this is his second run-in regarding improper medication. He could face a second degree misdemeanor violation, but experts point out that he has little to worry about, being a rich, famous, white guy.
He said he had a back problem that caused him to obtain painkillers without a prescription. Now he’s been nailed for scoring Viagra without script.

His lawyer ROY BLACK insists, “(It was) labelled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr Limbaugh for privacy purposes.”
PAUL MILLER, spokesman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, says Limbaugh claims the drug - which can be used to treat erectile dysfunction was for his personal use and he obtained it from medics.
A report will be filed with the Sheriff’s Office, who will decide whether to charge Limbaugh with second-degree misdemeanour violation.
