Beyonce Knowles and Mother Sued picBeyonce Knowles and her mother, Tina Knowles, have been sued for £800,000 9€1.2m) by a former business associate who claims they neglected to compensate him for securing a deal involving their House of Dereon clothing line. Beyonce and her mother, Tina Knowles, run the House of Dereon clothing line.
The suit, filed in New York State Supreme Court by Greg Walker, CEO of Icon Entertainment, alleges the Knowles hired him in Augugst 2003 to broker a slew of endorsement and marketing agreements, including a $15 million contract with clothing maker Wear Me Apparel Corp.

“Beyonce and Tina Knowles agreed on the terms of our business relationship, but have failed to properly compensate me for reasons unknown to me,” Walker said in a statement. “I just want to receive my fair share and move on with my business.” Read more!

Beyonce Attacked By PETAIn the New York City restaurant Nobu 57 Thursday night, singer/actress Beyonce Knowles and her Mother and Sister were the victims of a surprise ambush by two members of People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The members of People for the Ethical Treatment Animals secretly won an eBay auction offering dinner with the star. Knowles told the press she no idea they were PETA members.
The opportunity to eat with the singer was offered by the VH1 music channel, as part of an auction which would benefit its Save the Music Foundation.

The PETA pair, who won the chance to dine with Beyonce at a VH1 Save the Music auction, bombarded the pop diva with questions about her decisions to wear fur and include fur in her clothing line, House of Dereon. The PETA agents also used a hidden camera to secretly videotape Knowles and her reaction to their nasty questions. They were finally asked to leave 20 minutes later. Read more!
