Former Baywatch babe Carmen Electra,who shot to fame after posing for Playboy in 1996, braved Britain’s cold snap at the UK premiere of her latest film, I Want Candy. The American actress, visibly shivering at the event in London’s Leicester Square on Tuesday night, stars in the British-based comedy.
The actress said she jumped at the chance to take part in the film and said. “It was a great opportunity to work in London and with a British cast.
“They were so professional and sweet - we had a great time. You have to just go for it in a movie like this, because playing a porn star, you know, you could get very shy and intimidated at times.
“But I think it was done very tastefully, so I didn’t feel really that uncomfortable at any point.”

Carmen Electra researched her latest movie role as a porn star by digging out her own collection of X-rated films. The 34-year-old says, “I’m no stranger to watching porn but I did sort of have to brush up on a couple, you know, dusted off a few old porn films in the closet. Read more!

Carmen Electra and her guitarist husband Dave Navarro have split up. The couple — who signed up to showcase their relationship on MTV’s “‘Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave” in 2003 — announced on Monday that they’re “amicably splitting,” reports E!
Although rumors of trouble had circulated for months, the couple always insisted they were fine. Navarro, who has played guitar for Jane’s Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, even turned out to support Electra at the New York City premiere of Scary Movie 4 on April 10.

Electra and Navarro, who met on a blind date, had been dodging rumours that their relationship was over since April this year. The marriage was the 39-year-old guitarist’s third, while Electra had previously been married to basketball star Dennis Rodman for nine days in 1998. Read more!
