Country singer and “Dancing With the Stars” contestant Sara Evans is alleging in divorce papers filed Thursday that her husband, Craig Schelske, cheated on her, drank excessively, was verbally and emotionally abusive, and often watched pornography in their house. The 35-year-old singer quit the ABC talent show yesterday, citing “personal reasons.”
In court papers Sara alleges verbal abuse, harassment, excessive consumption of alcohol and adultery. The filing also seeks custody of their children. Sara claims her husband has been storing personal ads looking for sex from the online site Craigslist on his personal computer. They also state that he “maintains many pornographic photographs” of himself, along with photographs showing him having sex with other women. Read more!

Former supermodel Christie Brinkley is splitting from her fourth husband, architect Peter Cook after 10 years of marriage, her publicist confirmed yesterday. Brinkley and Cook, an architect, have an 8-year-old daughter, Sailor Lee. “Her immediate concern is for her children, and she’s hoping during this obviously difficult time that people will be kind enough to respect her privacy,” publicist Elliot Mintz said.
Brinkley has two other children from previous marriages.

The 52-year-old CoverGirl, who appeared in the 1980s comedy “National Lampoon’s Vacation” with Chevy Chase, has been married to French artist Jean-Francois Allaux, Piano Man Billy Joel and real estate developer Richard Taubman. She and Joel have a daughter, Alexa, 20, and she has a son, Jack, 11, by Taubman whom Cook adopted when the couple married in 1996. Read more!

Finally, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are single again, as reported by People.com over the weekend and confirmed by Simpson’s rep, Rob Shuter. According to papers filed in L.A. County Superior Court, the divorce is dated June 30, 2006, and it’s Jessica Simpson now, not Jessica Simpson Lachey.
The couple tied the knot in 2002 and the early years of their marriage were documented on the hit TV show. Lachey, 32, and Simpson, 25, starred in the MTV reality show,”Newlyweds: Nick&Jessica.”The singer-actress filed for divorce in December after three years of marriage.

After three years together, pop balladeer Josh Groban and actress January Jones (American Wedding) have split after dating for three years, his rep, Liz Rosenberg, tells PEOPLE. Other than saying, “They remain friends,” Rosenberg had no further comment. Jones’s rep, Dominique Appel, also had no comment.

Jones, who previously dated Ashton Kutcher, has recently been spotted with her SWEDISH AUTO co-star LUKAS HAAS at a Las Vegas, Nevada, nightclub.

‘Cruel Intentions’ star Selma Blair is getting divorced. The actress has called time on her marriage to actor-rocker Ahmet Zappa after just two years, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Blair, 34, filed her petition Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The couple has no children.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the couple said: “Selma and Ahmet have decided to divorce but love each other very much and will continue to be close friends.” Blair and Zappa, a musician, were married in 2004 after six months of dating. Eminem continued divorce proceedings with his wife, Kimberley Mathers, in a private hearing Thursday. Details of the meeting in Macomb County Circuit Court were not disclosed.
Kimberley Mathers, who is seeking financial support, attorney fees and joint custody of the couple’s 10-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, was seen being escorted out of the building by a sheriff’s deputy.
Her lawyer, Michael J. Smith, declined to comment. A message seeking comment was left Thursday with Eminem’s attorney, Harvey Hauer.

Actress Hilary Swank, who won two Academy Awards for her performances in Boys Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby, is divorcing her husband of eight years Chad Lowe, a spokesperson for the couple confirmed.
“Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe have jointly decided to divorce,” an attorney for the couple, Jeffrey A. Bernstein, told the magazine in a story posted on its Web site Friday. “They continue to be friends and have the utmost respect for one another.”

Thirty-one-year-old Swank and 38-year-old Lowe, who have no children, had a painful breakup in January, following which Swank said she and her husband were working towards saving their marriage. “Hilary and Chad have decided to separate. Nicole Richie and Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein have officially split, for the second time in six months. They confirmed that they are off again in a joint statement released the other day by the skeletal socialite’s publicist.
“We are confirming that we have amicably separated,” the pair said in a statement released Monday by Richie’s publicist, Cindy Guagenti. They did not provide any details.

Richie, 24, and Goldstein, a professional club DJ who goes by the name DJ AM, called off their nine-month engagement in December. They were spotted together in recent months, and Richie confirmed they were dating in an interview for the June issue of Vanity Fair. Read more!

A month after announcing they were attempting to reconcile a volatile coupling that originally ended in divorce in 2001, the rap superstar and Kimberly Mathers have filed for a marriage license in their native Macomb County, Michigan, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Kimberly Mathers–who has kept the surname of her former husband, identified on the application by his legal name of Marshall Mathers III–submitted the paperwork Monday afternoon at the county clerk’s office.
