Steve Martin And Anne Stringfield married in a secret ceremony at his Los Angeles home. Actor Steve Martin who is 61 has married his long time girlfriend Anne Stringfield who is 35. Bob Kerrey, a friend of Martin’s, did the formal ceremony, Lorne Michaels, creator of the “Saturday Night Live,” was Martin’s best man. The guests included actors Tom Hanks, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, and Carl Reiner and the marriage was said to be a surprise to them.

The two had dated for about three years, in Hollywood terms this is the equivalent of 20 years. Let’s hope this works, the fact is one Steve Martin is one of the few celebrities that I truly enjoy and you never here negative things he has tried to keep his life as clean as possible and in Hollywood this is almost and impossibility. The hotel heiress loves to shop and has bought so many pairs of shoes she doesn’t know what to do with them all.
She told Britain’s Now magazine: “Like most girls, I’m passionate about shoes. I have so many pairs its ridiculous. In fact, I probably have over a thousand pairs and now my whole house is like one giant closet because I just put them wherever they’ll fit.”

Matt Damon Welcomes Baby Isabella

Matt Damon and wifeHOLLYWOOD actor Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, have welcomed a baby daughter, Isabella, to the world. “The baby is here. Isabella arrived yesterday,” Damon’s brother Kyle told People magazine reported on its online editions today.
According to Damon’s publicist, Jennifer Allen, “Mother and baby - everyone - is wonderful, fine.” The baby was born Sunday in a Miami hospital. No other details were released.
The baby is the first for Damon. His wife, 30, has a daughter, Alexia, 7, from a previous marriage. Read more!

Sean ConneryGeorge Lucas is hoping that he can tempt actor Sean Connery into reprising his role of Henry Jones in the next Indiana Jones adventure. Sean Connery has recently announced his retirement from acting, so this confrontation might prove interesting. Apparently Lucas is writing Sean Connery into the script “whether he wants to do it or not”.
“I would love him to be in the next Indiana Jones…maybe I can push him into it,” he told Access Hollywood. “We are writing him in whether he wants to do it or not.” George Lucas has told Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos he is pushing to get Sean Connery to appear in Indiana Jones 4. Lucas is producing the fourth movie in the franchise as Harrison Ford returns as the whip-cracking archaeologist, and the story apparently involves Indy’s father, Henry Jones. The former Bond actor received a standing ovation from the star-studded audience, which included ‘Star Wars’ creator George Lucas, as well as legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg and veteran actor Harrison Ford. Hollywood Star Salaries Goes Down

In its issue out this week, Entertainment Weekly rates top stars on whether they are worth the money. Jim Carrey’s movies have raked in nearly $2 billion at box offices, but now a leading entertainment magazine says the comedian’s asking price of $25 million a film has become “a bit of a gamble.”

Among those whose asking prices have become too high are Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Will Ferrell and Eddie Murphy, the magazine said.
It added that after years of ever-rising star salaries, the prices for top talent are now coming down because the cost of making movies is going up, among other issues. “It’s long overdue,” former Twentieth Century Fox Chairman Bill Mechanic told the magazine. Read more!

Catherine Zeta-JonesCatherine Zeta-Jones beats Nicole Kidman and Kate Moss as the celebrity with biggest product endorsement contracts. According to CONTACTMUSIC.COM, Academy Award-winning Welsh actress and wife of Michael Douglas, earned $20 million from her contract with T-Mobile, in addition to her own Elizabeth Arden ad campaign.

Next in the list are Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman, who were apparently paid $12 million for their respective St John and Chanel ads. Catherine Zeta-Jones won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the movie Chicago in 2003. She has two children, Dylan Michael Douglas, 6, and Carys Zeta Douglas, 3. Read more!

As they were awarded the 2,035th star of the Walk, Knolwes said, “We started when we were 9 years old, and here we are getting a Hollywood star. Dreams come true. Jennifer Lopez and the ‘Carmen’ Project

Jennifer Lopez reportedly having trouble on getting a backer for a film musical based on the George Bizet opera Carmen. According to the New York Daily News, investors aren’t willing to put up the $50 million needed for the project, even though Ray director Taylor Hackford was tapped to direct the film. Hackford said Thursday (December 29), “Carmen is on its last legs. Studios are so frightened at the moment that they are looking for outside money.”

Hackford thinks that there’s a lot of fear in Hollywood because so many films aren’t doing well at the box office. But, he also admits that studio heads think audiences won’t accept JLo as the legendary vixen who is murdered by her jilted lover. He said, “[Carmen] is not a sweet, nice girl. This is a piece about a criminal. We want to do a tough, hard version, but Hollywood thinks the audience [for Jennifer Lopez] is 13-year-old girls. …It has an ending that Hollywood does not like to make.” Read more!
