Britney Spears to Launch Real Gossip Magazine

Britney Spears pose on one of Gossip MagazineBritney Spears is considering launching her own celebrity magazine to set the record straight about the rich and famous stars of Hollywood, her husband, Kevin Federline, has revealed. Speaking to American magazine Steppin’ Out, Federline confessed that he believes in his wife’s proposed venture, insisting that such a magazine like ‘The Real’ would provide a valuable service to fellow celebrities as it will deal only with the ‘truth’. Federline says of their idea for ‘The Real’, “It’s not just us. Everybody has been lied about in the tabloids.
“Everybody has false truths and false images and false stuff perceived on them. Maybe not as much as me and my wife get. But everybody has it.” Read more!

GQ for Michael Jackson Photos Attack

Michael Jackson GQ picMichael Jackson’s mysterious dermal condition, the one that turned him white, has left him rather thin-skinned. She is is demanding an apology from GQ magazine and its corporate parent, Conde Nast, over a look-alike photo in its May issue.
In a statement released Friday, Michael Jackson’s representative, Raymone K. Bain, said Jackson is “furious” about a series of photos featuring a Jackson impersonator in the magazine’s May issue, now on newsstands. Jackson’s rep said in a statement: “Mr. Jackson has neither posed for, [nor] provided photographs of himself to GQ Magazine. The person in these photographs is an imposter. Read more!

Hollywood Star Salaries Goes Down

In its issue out this week, Entertainment Weekly rates top stars on whether they are worth the money. Jim Carrey’s movies have raked in nearly $2 billion at box offices, but now a leading entertainment magazine says the comedian’s asking price of $25 million a film has become “a bit of a gamble.”

Among those whose asking prices have become too high are Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Will Ferrell and Eddie Murphy, the magazine said.
It added that after years of ever-rising star salaries, the prices for top talent are now coming down because the cost of making movies is going up, among other issues. “It’s long overdue,” former Twentieth Century Fox Chairman Bill Mechanic told the magazine. Read more!
