Nelly Furtado Fose for Playboy pictureCanadian singer Nelly Furtado has revealed she once turned down a $500,000 offer to pose nude in Playboy. But believe it or not, she almost did (although we’re not exactly sure when) but never said a word about it. Sneaky, sneaky. The hitmaker has recently made a comeback to the charts with a racy new image, but insists she’s not ready to show off her body just yet.
She told MTV: “I was offered half a million dollars to pose fully clothed. To do it would be a vanity thing, an egotistical thing. It’s not to say that I would never do it. It’s intriguing, it’s very tempting. It’s got to be under the right terms. We will see what happens.”

The 28-year-old star, who is currently single and has a daughter Nevis, admits she feels as though her sexuality has blossomed as she has got older. Read more!

Paris Hilton Investigated for Drink-Driving

Paris Hilton arrested for drink-driving pictureParis Hilton was arrested early Thursday for investigation of driving under the influence. Anyone who didn’t see that one coming may want to schedule an eye exam. The aspiring pop star, 25, was pulled over by police in Hollywood around 12:30 am, officer I. Isabella confirms. Isabella claims Hilton was stopped because she was “driving erratically” in her Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. She was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and released on her own recognizance, he said. Her spokesman, Elliot Mintz, said police detected the minimum blood-alcohol level to warrant an arrest. The legal limit in California is 0.08 percent.

She told KIIS-FM radio in an interview that she had been to a charity fund-raiser party after a long day shooting a music video and had just one margarita. Read more!

Michael Jackson For New TrialA year after Michael Jackson was acquitted of child molestation charges, a lawsuit by a former associate is headed for a trial that will put Jackson’s chaotic financial dealings in the spotlight. The pop star is not expected in court but he will be seen through videotaped depositions.
Jackson’s being sued by former associate Marc Schaffel for $3.8 million dollars. Schaffel says
the entertainer owes him for loans and expenses, salary for work on a charity record and for a share of proceeds from two TV specials.

His brief reads, “Jackson carried no credit cards, wrote no checks, carried no ‘walking around money’ and had people attending to his every need.
“Jackson hired competent advisers to make business decisions then frequently ignored the decisions being made and…incurred expenses without regard to any rational limits or accountability, as though funds were endless. Read more!
